I’ve had pumpkin spice ice cream before, but I’ve never even seen a pumpkin spice ice-cream sandwich until yesterday at the grocery (or this particular brand, either). There they were, sitting in the freezer at the end of the ice-cream aisle, waiting to be brought home and eaten. I could not resist.
The ice-cream itself is pumpkin spice, but the cookies that hold the ice-cream in are vanilla, though it’s mostly a pumpkin spice flavor you get. It’s not a strong taste but it’s definitely there.
The cookies are a bit fragile, more so than the regular ice-cream sandwiches I’ve had (it broke in half right away), but ultimately, it made no more mess than the original chocolate version. 
I give this 4 out of 5 pumpkins. It was good, but I still prefer the original ice-cream sandwich!
