Chobani Flip Pumpkin Harvest Crisp Yogurt

While I don’t often buy it, I am a big fan of yogurt. I was at Wegman’s and saw this special edition Chobani Flip (which I had never had before!)

IMG_0136At first look after opening, the yogurt isn’t exactly enticing. You know that weird liquid that is on top when yogurt is left to settle? Yeah. Not exactly pleasant. But upon mixing, it looked better, and slightly coffee-like. I tried the yogurt before “flipping” the crunchies (I don’t know what they actually are) into it. The yogurt tastes like most other pumpkin spice yogurts I’ve had. I flipped the crunchies over into the yogurt compartment and ate a spoonful. It was actual really good! It beat my expectations (the crunchies also did not look enticing). I loved the crunch it gave as well. It does have an after taste that’s a bit sour, though. All in all, I probably wouldn’t buy this again, mostly because I never buy yogurts with the extra pourable ingredients.

I give this yogurt 4 pumpkins.Screen Shot 2018-10-01 at 6.38.11 PM

PS Piroulines

IMG_0057

I purchased these at Bed, Bath, and Beyond awhile ago. I have always loved Pirouline’s but had never had the pumpkin spice version (or even heard of them!).

The inside appears similar to the vanilla version, an off white cream, but they taste nothing alike.

I love pumpkin spice (obviously) but these are just… not good. Their taste is vaguely pumpkin spice-y but more so just gross. It pains me to give such a bad rating, but these are horrible. They have the yummy flakiness of the original Piroulines, but the taste is nothing close to yummy. I gave this 2 pumpkins instead of 1 purely because I just love how they’re flakey.

Limited Time Originals PS Ice-Cream Sandwich

IMG_0049

I’ve had pumpkin spice ice cream before, but I’ve never even seen a pumpkin spice ice-cream sandwich until yesterday at the grocery (or this particular brand, either). There they were, sitting in the freezer at the end of the ice-cream aisle, waiting to be brought home and eaten. I could not resist.
The ice-cream itself is pumpkin spice, but the cookies that hold the ice-cream in are vanilla, though it’s mostly a pumpkin spice flavor you get. It’s not a strong taste but it’s definitely there.

The cookies are a bit fragile, more so than the regular ice-cream sandwiches I’ve had (it broke in half right away), but ultimately, it made no more mess than the original chocolate version. IMG_0042

Tastykake’s PS Donuts

IMG_0039Tastykake’s donuts have never been my favorite, but when I saw a pack of mini pumpkin spice donuts at the store, I couldn’t resist. And boy, they did not disappoint!

On first look, they appear similar to their powdered sugar cousins, but when you bite in the inside is a lovely fall orange.
At first, there’s a strong taste of some dessert spice, then you’re hit with the donut flavor, and finally, they come together and create the perfect pumpkin spice donut.IMG_0038
